The Imperial Order of St. John Knights of Malta
Under the Protection of the Royal Imperial House and Dynasty Rurikovich
Superior Grand Master HRIH Grand Prince Hans Maximus Cabrera Lochaber Rurikovich,
The Self-styled Order, a relatively recent entity, emerged in 2022/2023 amid significant upheaval within the Basilio Cali’ group. This turmoil culminated in a fractious split, driven by internal conflicts and differing visions for the organization’s future. At the heart of this new formation is Maximus Cabrera Lochaber Rurikovich.
Hans Maximus Cabrera Lochaber Rurikovich, and the rest of the Rurikovich family, who prior to this upheaval had no engagement with the legitimate Russian Order of St. John, whether authentic or fake. His introduction to this complex world came through Basilio Cali’, who, shortly after establishing his own faction, proclaimed himself the Grand Master.
Maximus initially joined Basilio’s group in the capacity of Royal Protector, a strategic move by Cali’ aimed at crafting a chivalric image for his nascent organization while simultaneously distancing himself from his earlier affiliations, notably with Scerri Montaldo, which he had embraced around the turn of the century. For several years, the collaboration between Maximus and Basilio proceeded without major incident. However, as time went on, Basilio’s increasingly authoritarian leadership style and his grandiose aspirations sowed the seeds of discord within the group.
This growing discontent ultimately led to the formation of the Imperial Order of St. John Knights of Malta. Frustrated members of the Cali’ group sought out Maximus for support, prompting him to take decisive action. Following failed negotiations with Basilio, which allegedly involved substantial financial incentives for Basilio to step aside, Maximus chose to establish his own Order and proclaimed himself Superior Grand Master, effectively severing ties with his former ally.
The newly minted Self-styled Order comprises former members of the Cali’ group who have opted for independence, each seeking to carve out their unique identity within this loosely affiliated network. Many of these individuals have established their own distinct factions within their respective countries, unilaterally appointing themselves as Grand Masters. The Autonomous Group leaders now part of Maximus’s Self-styled Order include notable figures such as Dr. Zoran from Greece, Charles Cologon from Mauritius, Patrick Camille Makosso-Ngoma-Jouvam from Congo, Ilija Zivotic from Serbia, Mario Parvanov from Bulgaria, Adnan Imeri from Macedonia, Lissandro Machado Pires from Brazil, Marini Bruno from Tuscany, Giuseppe Madia from Sicily, Lovecchio Antonello from Liguria, Franco Nicoletti from Brazil, and Jiries Michael Naber from both the USA and Zimbabwe, along with Joseph Grange from Malta and Kwabena Osei Bonsu from Ghana.
In addition to his role within the Self-styled Order, Maximus Cabrera Lochaber Rurikovich claims titles across various other Orders of dubious legitimacy. These include the Imperial Order of Truth, the Teutonical Knights, the Order of St. Constantine, the Knights Templar, the Chivalry of St. George, the Order of St. Anna, the Order of Zar Ivan VI, and the Order of Merit Rurikovich. Since January 4, 2008, he has asserted titles such as Grand Chancellor, Royal Commander, and Head of the Royal Imperial House and Dynasty of Rurikovich. Furthermore, following the death of his brother in 2020, he has also taken on the role of Head of the Family House, Dynasty Arms, and Orders, further consolidating his self-styled noble identity amidst a landscape rife with competing claims and allegiances.
According to Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rurikids) the Rurik dynasty, was a noble lineage allegedly founded by the Varangian prince Rurik in A.D. 862 and later ruled Kievan Rus' until AD 1598 before being succeeded by the House of Romanov. Presently, there are various branches of the Rurikids, such as the Houses of Shakhovskoy, Gagarin, and Lobanov-Rostovsky, The representatives for these two houses include Prince Dmitriy Mikhailovich Shakhovskoy (born 1934); Prince Dmitri Andreevich Gagarin (born 1934); and Prince Nikita Lobanov-Rostovsky (born 1935), a descendant of Prince Konstantin Vasilyevich of Rostov. The three of them are of the Monomakhovichi branch. While the Shakhovskoys claim descent from Mstislav I of Kiev, the Gagarins and the Lobanov-Rostovskys are descendants of Vsevolod III of Vladimir, which makes the Shakhovskoys the most senior.
In summary, this newly established organization lacks any historical lineage and has no legitimate ties to the authentic Russian Order of St John. It is fundamentally a counterfeit, much like its predecessors. To circumvent potential disputes, the founders have adopted a strategy of designating all members with the title of "Grand Master," which dilutes the significance of the title and creates an illusion of legitimacy.
The primary focus of this self-proclaimed order appears to be more on the accumulation of prestigious decorations and titles rather than on engaging in meaningful charitable activities or providing assistance to the sick and impoverished. This group does not hold an officially recognized FONS HONORUM, meaning its honours and decorations are not acknowledged by any organization or country and has no documented history of charitable work or financial transparency, such as audits or reports on their activities.
As with many fraudulent organizations, their primary motive seems to revolve around financial gain derived from the enrolment of new members. This raises significant concerns about their operations. Therefore, it is strongly advised to exercise caution and scepticism when dealing with this organization. Potential members should thoroughly investigate and consider the implications before engaging with such entities.
